How to Find an Apple Receipt for App Store, Subscriptions and Store Purchases

Method 1: Check your App Store and iTunes purchase history

Most Apple receipts (apps, in-app purchases, music, movies, iCloud, and subscriptions) live in one place: your purchase history. There are two easy ways in.

Apple emails a receipt for nearly every purchase, usually within a day or so. This is often the fastest way to get a printable copy.

1. Open the inbox tied to the Apple Account that made the purchase.
2. Search for "apple.com", "Your receipt from Apple", or the app or product name.
3. Open the receipt to print it or save it as a PDF.

The catch is which inbox. The receipt goes to the email on the Apple Account used for the purchase, which is not always your main address. If you use Family Sharing, the receipt usually lands with the family organizer, not the person who tapped buy. Check spam too, since receipts sometimes get filtered.

Method 3: Apple Store retail and online order receipts

Buying a Mac, iPhone, AirPods, or an accessory is different from buying an app, so the receipt lives somewhere else.
