The receipt is in the truck. Get it into the books.
A dozen supply runs a week, across several crews and a few subs who are never going to install a finance app. The paper goes in a door pocket, a toolbox or the wash. Mylo takes receipts by text and by camera, pulls itemized ones straight from connected accounts like Home Depot and Lowe’s, reads the rest out of your inbox, and matches each one to the card that paid for it.

How it works
Built for people who are not at a desk.
The receipt is only reliably captured in the ninety seconds after it is handed over. Everything Mylo does in the field is designed to fit in that window.
-
Step 1
Snap or text it on the spot
Photograph the receipt at the counter and text it in, or scan it in the app. Three seconds, before it goes in a pocket.
-
Step 2
Mylo reads it
Merchant, date, total and tax are extracted and the expense is categorized, so nobody types a supply run into a spreadsheet.
-
Step 3
Matched to the card charge
Mylo matches the receipt against your bank and card feeds through Plaid, across 12,000+ institutions, so the charge and the paperwork line up.
-
Step 4
Synced to QuickBooks
Approved expenses go across with category and tax, and the receipt image travels with them.
“THE HOME DEPOT #6412” on the card statement tells you nothing. The itemized receipt tells you everything.
Why it matters
What changes on a construction job.
Subs can actually participate
Anyone whose number you authorize can text receipts in. No onboarding, no seat to explain, no app they will delete.
The paper stops disappearing
Thermal receipts fade and tear. A photo taken at the counter does not, and Mylo keeps the original attached to the expense forever.
Ask what you actually spent
Ask in plain English what went to Ferguson last month or which card paid for the White Cap order, and Mylo answers off your own data.
Clear the backlog in one pass
Bulk mode turns a pile of captured receipts into expenses in a single sitting, instead of one at a time on a Sunday night.
Field capture
The crew texts it. You stop chasing it.
Mylo gives you a phone number. A foreman snaps the receipt at the pro desk and texts the photo, and it comes back as a categorized expense with the image attached. The sender does not need the app, an account or a password, which is the only version of this that works for subs and part-time crew.
- Works from any phone, including one with no Mylo app installed
- Camera scan in the app for anyone who does carry it
- Merchant, date, total and tax read off the photo automatically

Supplier accounts
Itemized receipts, straight from the accounts you already have
Connect the store logins your company already uses and Mylo fetches the itemized receipt for each purchase. That is the document that shows the lumber, the fittings and the fasteners, instead of one card line with a store number on it.
- Connected store and service logins fetch itemized receipts
- Emailed order confirmations and invoices captured read-only from Gmail, Outlook, iCloud and Yahoo
- Every receipt stays attached to the expense as proof

FAQ
Questions, answered.
How do crews send receipts without installing an app?
They text a photo to your Mylo number. Any authorized phone can send receipts in as a picture message with no app, no login and no setup, which is what makes it work for subcontractors and short-term crew.
Why is the card statement line not enough for a supply run?
A line that reads “THE HOME DEPOT #6412” gives you a store and an amount and nothing else. Mylo attaches the itemized receipt to that charge so there is a real record of what the money bought.
Can Mylo pull receipts from our supplier accounts?
Yes. You can connect store and service logins so Mylo fetches the itemized receipt for each purchase, and it also captures emailed invoices and order confirmations from Gmail, Outlook, iCloud and Yahoo, read-only.
Do we need a new corporate card?
No. Mylo works on the Visa, Mastercard and Amex cards your company already uses. It connects through Plaid to read transactions and match receipts against them.
What about miles between the yard, the supply house and the site?
Mileage expenses are built in, so drive time between jobs and supply runs gets recorded alongside the receipts instead of being reconstructed from memory later.
What does it cost for a crew?
Mylo is a free download with a 30-day Pro trial, then $9 per user per month. People who only text receipts in do not need the app installed on their phone.
