The receipts live in the cab.
Fuel at a Pilot, a scale ticket, a toll top-up, a tire at a TA, forty dollars cash to a lumper. By the time the fistful of paper reaches the office three weeks later, half of it is a blank strip of thermal paper. Mylo takes the receipt at the pump instead, by text, from the phone the driver already has in their hand.

How it works
Capture it while it is still readable.
Thermal paper is the real deadline. Heat, a sunlit dash and three weeks in a door pocket will take the print off a fuel receipt before anyone tries to file it. Capturing at the pump is not a nicety.
-
Step 1
Photograph it at the counter
The receipt is at its most legible in the first minute. Take the picture before it goes in a pocket, a glovebox or the wash.
-
Step 2
Text it in
Send the photo to the Mylo number. Nothing to open, nothing to log into, no app to keep updated on a phone that lives in a truck.
-
Step 3
Mylo reads and categorizes it
The merchant, date, total and tax come off the image and the expense is categorized without anyone typing it in.
-
Step 4
Matched to the money
Mylo finds the card or bank transaction that paid for it, so the receipt and the statement line agree at the end of the month.
A driver who can text a photo never has to keep a receipt.
Why it matters
Built for the way a truck actually runs.
No more faded strips
A photo taken at the pump stays readable forever. The paper it came from does not have to.
Nothing to teach
Owner-operators and part-time drivers do not want a finance app. Texting a picture needs no explanation and no onboarding.
The statement reconciles itself
Receipts match to card and bank transactions automatically, so you are not trying to remember what a $312 charge in Amarillo was for.
Mileage without a spreadsheet
Personal-vehicle and errand mileage goes in as a mileage expense alongside the fuel, toll and repair receipts.
Text-in receipts
The driver installs nothing
You give the driver a number. They photograph the receipt at the counter and text it, the same way they text anyone else. No app on the truck phone, no password, no training session before their first run.
- Works from any phone, company or personal
- No app install and no login for the sender
- Several receipts in a row is fine

Read and matched
Merchant, date, total, then the transaction
Mylo reads the merchant, date, total and tax off the photo, then looks for the card or bank transaction that settled it. A fuel stop becomes a categorized expense with the image attached, not a picture buried in somebody’s camera roll.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Do drivers need the Mylo app?
No. A driver texts a photo of the receipt to a Mylo number from any phone, with no app installed and no login. That is the whole workflow on their side, which is why it actually gets used.
Why photograph the receipt at the pump instead of at the end of the week?
Because fuel and toll receipts are printed on thermal paper, and thermal paper fades. Heat in a cab and a few weeks in a door pocket can leave you with a blank strip. A photo taken at the counter is legible forever.
Does Mylo handle fuel, tolls, scales, repairs and lumper fees?
They are receipts and transactions like any other. Mylo reads the merchant, date, total and tax off the photo, categorizes the expense and matches it to the transaction that paid. A cash payment with a paper receipt is still captured as an expense, it simply has no card transaction to match against.
Can I track mileage too?
Yes. Mileage goes in as its own expense type alongside the receipt-based ones. Mylo keeps the record, it does not file anything with the IRS on your behalf.
What about receipts that arrive by email?
Connect the inbox and Mylo pulls them in read-only. Toll account notices, maintenance invoices and parts orders that arrive by email are captured without anyone forwarding them.
Does this work for one truck or for a small fleet?
Both. An owner-operator runs it as a single user. A small fleet adds drivers, who submit expenses that the owner approves or denies with a comment. Free download, 30-day Pro trial, then $9 per user per month.
